Mr. Polak has over twenty years of leadership and management experience in both public and private sectors with significant focus on process and profitability improvement, supply chain and operations management. He served as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for Foamex LP. Prior to that, he was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting where he led numerous strategic profit improvement and restructuring activities. Mr. Polak spent ten years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds an M.S. degree in engineering management.
Steve W. Lister, VP/Chief Financial Officer
Steve Lister joined Holliston LLC in 2009 and brings with him a comprehensive financial background both domestically and internationally in the manufacturing, mining and distribution industries. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as venture capital and family ownerships and is well versed in the areas of strategic planning, acquisitions and divestitures and liquidity management. Lister has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business as well as a MBA in Business from the University of Colorado.
Gary Sweeney, Senior Vice President of Operations
Mr. Sweeney has more than 20 years experience in the chemical, textile, and paper industries. During his career, he has held key management positions in the technical, sales and marketing, and manufacturing disciplines at large multinational companies as well as privately held manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Holliston, Mr. Sweeney served as vice president and divisional manager for Decorative Specialties International. Sweeney holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
William D. Chapman, Vice President of Sales
A 33-year veteran of coated cloth and paper sales, Mr. Chapman began his career with Joanna Western Mills in 1974. After holding positions of increasing responsibility with that organization, Mr. Chapman worked in sales and management positions at Holliston, Ecological Fibers and FiberMark. He rejoined Holliston in 2006 to oversee sales of industrial products. Additionally, Mr. Chapman has assumed responsibility for Holliston's reemergence as a supplier of coated paper products to the many industries Holliston serves.
William C. Waldron III, Vice President of Security Products
Mr. Waldron's extensive market and technical expertise comes from his 30 years of high level positions in both domestic and international sales, including book cover material. His understanding of the security market allows him to lead Holliston's growth efforts in the global security market. Mr. Waldron is also responsible for international distribution of Holliston's entire product portfolio.
Charles H. Crowley, Vice President of Manufacturing
Mr. Crowley has an extensive background in the textile industry and spent twelve years with Rexam Decorative Specialties International in Johnston, Rhode Island where he served as Manufacturing Manager. Prior to coming to Holliston, Chuck served as Manufacturing Manager at Astro-Med, Inc., a publicly traded worldwide provider of printing hardware, software and media. Mr. Crowley holds a chemical engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnical Institute.
Gregory W. Stanley, Director Facilities Engineering and Maintenance
Mr. Stanley has been with Holliston since 2001. He previously spent seventeen years as an engineering technician and as a team manager with Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, Tennessee. Mr. Stanley has an extensive knowledge of Holliston's equipment and technology and makes a significant contribution in ensuring that our equipment runs effectively and efficiently. Mr. Stanley has a degree in chemical technology and a degree in mechanical technology from Northeast State Technical Community College in Blountville, Tennessee, as well a B.A. in business administration from King College.
Russell L. McAlister, Director Customer Service/Supply Chain
Mr. Mcalister came to Holliston from WestPoint Home, Inc., where he served as Sourced Products Operations Manager. Mr. Mcalister has knowledge and experience in all aspects of foreign and domestic sourcing, importing and freight, as well as internal planning and manufacturing scheduling. Mr. Mcalister is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, where he obtained a B.S. degree in mathematics.
Margaret A. Kiser, Director-Human Resources
Ms. Kiser has spent the past thirty years of her career as a human resources professional in the local manufacturing sector. Twenty-six of those years were spent at Quebecor World, previously Kingsport Press--a local book manufacturer. Quebecor had a long-standing relationship with Holliston through the use of our products in the book binding process. In addition, Ms. Kiser has served in staff level positions in the glass industry as well as the injection molded closure industry. Ms. Kiser holds a B.S. degree in organizational management from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee.
